Areas of Practice
CRIMINAL LAW
We provide legal advice and representation for criminal matters in the Magistrates, District, Supreme and Youth Court for summary, minor and major indictable matters, whether for guilty pleas or defending at trial. We also provide advise and representation on driving and vehicle offences. We advise on applications for appeal in all court and appear on Commonwealth matters such as Centrelink fraud.
WILLS & ESTATES.
Having a valid will is important. We will advise you on what you need to put in your will and help you express your wishes in your will. We will ensure that you end up with a legally valid will. We are also able to assist those who have been given the responsibility of Executor named in a will to apply for Probate and deal with the assets or the person who needs to be appointed as administrator if there is no will.
Contesting a will is a difficult decision to make but if you believe that you have not been left with what you are entitled, or not left anything at all then come and see us and we can advise you on your entitlements.
Contracts/Guarantees/leases
It's important before buying/selling a small business or franchise or being guarantor for your child's first home to understand the legal implications of signing that contract, agreement or lease. We will advise you on your obligations and liabilities when considering this important decision.
